Maria Lamb

Maria Lamb, SPHR, is a HR executive with over two decades of expertise in workforce strategy, business process optimization, and the integration of agentic AI to drive organizational efficiency and value creation.
Currently serving as Vice President of Human Resources and a member of the Senior Leadership Team at Coen Oil and Coen Markets (recently acquired by the EG Group). Maria spearheads enterprise-wide people strategies for their retail and petroleum equipment operation. With graduate training from Carnegie Mellon University and PROSCI, she brings a practical, systems-focused approach to helping organizations scale operations, build high-performing cultures, and align talent with strategic objectives.
Maria also contributes her experience as a member of the Strategic Advisory Board at ChangeEngine, an AI-powered HR communications platform for employee engagement.
Her experience also includes senior global HR positions at GlaxoSmithKline, and U.S. Steel, She started her career in HR at the law firm of Reed Smith, where she developed her love of HR. Afterwards she worked on a successful IPO and acquisition of FreeMarkets (now SAP). Maria has provided strategic counsel to venture capital and private equity firms, guiding leadership teams through change management, succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, as well as operational scaling initiatives.
Based in Pennsylvania with her family, Maria enjoys staying at the forefront of emerging technologies, mentoring aspiring leaders, and actively engaging in faith building community initiatives.
