“Franciscan’s Educator Prep Program not only gave me the experience needed for my teaching career after graduating, but it also equipped me with tips and tools for incorporating my faith in my work. The dynamic relationships I had with my professors and fellow educators have stayed with me even after years since graduation. I couldn’t be more grateful for choosing a college where discussions and relationships were so formative and meaningful.”
“Since graduating I have taught 1st grade and kindergarten at a small school in North Idaho, and currently, for the last almost 3 years, I’ve been working in the field of ABA therapy for children with autism. As a teacher and technician, I have learned the importance of getting out of the classroom/clinic and making time for hobbies, such as hiking in the beautiful PNW! I have appreciated all the teaching opportunities that have followed since my time at Franciscan, and I will always accredit my alma mater for giving me the foundation for where my educational experience has led me to this day.”
