Emily Burgess ’17

Emily Burgess saves lives in the emergency room of the INOVA Health System in Fairfax, Virginia. She enjoys teaching students and new graduates, as well as walking with patients and families through some of the hardest days of their lives. While at Franciscan, she worked with many patients in a different clinical setting each semester and had the opportunity to learn about ethics and the human person in medical issues through philosophy and theology classes.
