In addition to her teaching credentials, she has amassed 10+ years in work force experience falling under the Criminology/Criminal Justice umbrella. She holds specific expertise in Conduct Financial Crimes Compliance (CFCC) -Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CFT). Professor Kikendall brings global banking expertise and federal government experience to her courses.

Among other awards and honors, Professor Kikendall most recently received the Faculty Teaching Excellence Award from John Jay College of Criminal Justice for her development of a “no-additional cost” to student course, designed to be taught asynchronously, and make higher education even more accessible to students of varying backgrounds.
