Dr. Monica Kaule is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Counselor Educator with a doctorate in Counseling Education and Supervision. She also holds a master’s degree in Community Counseling and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
In addition to her academic work, Dr. Kaule serves as a clinical director and internship coordinator at a mental health nonprofit, where she specializes in complex trauma and addictive behaviors. She is trained in EMDR and is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist.
Dr. Kaule is passionate about helping emerging counselors develop strong clinical judgment, ethical integrity, and a clear professional identity. Her teaching emphasizes both skill development and self-awareness, encouraging students to engage deeply in the personal and professional growth required in this field.
Outside of her professional roles, she enjoys spending time with her family and in nature. She believes deeply in the importance of emotional well-being and sustainable practice for both clients and clinicians.
