Chelsey Marrow
Instructor for Clinical Mental Health Counseling
Chelsey Marrow, Visiting Professor in the Counseling and Social Work Department, is currently completing her PhD. Studies in Counselor Education and Supervision through Divine Mercy University. She is projected to graduate with her doctoral degree in the spring of 2028.
She teaches or has taught the following courses: Human Growth and Development, Catholic Foundations, Techniques and Theories, and Internship II and Trauma and Crisis Counseling. Her research interests include the application of neuroscience to counseling theoretical orientation, trauma and the neuroscientific effects on the brain, attachment and relational development and the effects of trauma and vagas nerve treatment in relation to anxiety.
Chelsey runs her own private practice where she specializes in trauma and employees and supervises counselors. She has fifteen years of clinical experience. She has worked in theory development for the Instinctual Trauma Response Method and has eight years of continuing education teaching experience.
